Marriage should always be about love. The world has changed - arranged marriages are not needed by most societies.
This made me think about the movie The Fiddler on the Roof. Have you seen it? My favorite movie of all time. The husband and wive had an arranged marriage, as was the custom. His daughters wanted to marry for love. So he sings the song to his wife, "Do you love me?" If you have seen the movie you know what I am talking about. If not, you really must see it.
A marriage is said to be perfect and happy provided there is no divorce. Now from the statistics that we know there is less number of divorces in India than that of US. Both the countries are democratic in nature but in India most of the marriages are held by negotiation while in USA the marriages are completed by direct contact of love. This argument tells in totality negotiation marriage is better for long lasting peace of marriage life.

Parents are experienced and always think best for their children. Without acceptance of parents marriages are insecure and later these type of love marriages are failure. In love both boy and girls are blind they don't know what they are doing is correct or incorrect. They don't care of their future, family, society and respect of their parents. When the fire of love is cool all have done and result is nothing only sufferings and sorrows.
