When we purchase gifts Items we should keep in mind not to bias our  shopping on three attractive offers which include Free Offers, Cheap Offer(Low cost sale) & Exchange Offer ( getting a new item for an old one). Buy only necessary items. The market always tempts us with magical phrases like ‘Exchange an old item & get a new one’. Plan well in advance when we go for  shopping, a medium income person can save thousands of bucks.

Prepare a Family Budget. We should keep all the expected expenses for the coming month in mind while we prepare the shopping budget. We should distinguish our shopping items as

2. Necessary Items
3. Luxury Items

Keep 50% of our income for the unavoidable needs. We should not keep more than 10% of our budget for our luxury gift needs in the shopping. What is luxury depends upon the income level of each person. • Do not hesitate to ask your doubts to the shop keeper.
• Just because another kid has costlier things, we should not give in to the pleadings of our kids who ask for the same things.

We should not forget that the number of people who get trapped by purchasing items using bank loans and credit cards as installments are increasing day by day.
